I found this blog by Christine Kane very moving. It really hit home with me. It folds two things that I struggle with together into one strand. a) drawing a line and taking responsibility for how you allow others to treat you. b) Learn how to take risks.

This is a new blog to me but I'm definitely subscribing to it. I think Christine has a clear and simple style which really works for me.
Since having the kids I've got the best excuse ever to stop taking risks. But I feel that I'm not being true to myself. Debs and I have big dreams of moving to a more rural setting. There are a world of risks involved, and it's so easy to focus on those. The fact is though that neither of us wants to raise the kids in the London suburbs.
So what's best, the certainty of 'failing' by your own standards, or taking a risk and living by what you believe in? It's a bit easier if you focus on it like that!
